Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicketkeeper-batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2026 due to a concussion. a fracture on a finger of his left hand. Raghuvanshi suffered the twin blows as a result of a collision with team-mate Varun Chakravarthy while attempting to take a catch in KKR's previous match. against Mumbai Indians (MI), on Wednesday.
On the fifth ball of the 11th over of MI's innings, Tilak Varma skied an attempted slog off Varun. While Varun moved to his left with his eyes on the ball, Raghuvanshi also rushed towards the bowler. The two eventually collided,. Varun dropped the catch on impact with Raghuvanshi despite having taken it cleanly while falling to the ground.
Raghuvanshi walked off the field four balls into the 14th over of the innings,. was replaced by substitute wicketkeeper Tejasvi Dahiya.
When KKR chased, they sent in Manish Pandey instead of Raghuvanshi at No. 3, with the latter out due to concussion.
