Egypt FM appreciates Pakistan's mediation efforts, hopes for early understanding

Deputy Prime Minister. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation on Thursday with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, during which the two sides discussed regional developments and underscored the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

Earlier, Foreign Minister Dar underscored the importance of developing a competitive, innovative and sustainable automotive ecosystem.

He stressed that such a system could support economic growth, enhance industrial capacity, generate skilled jobs. advance environmental sustainability through a future-ready automotive sector.

Dar chaired a high-level meeting to review the auto. auto parts policy, with a particular focus on accelerating Pakistan’s transition towards Electric Vehicles (EVs), the Office of the DPM said in a statement.
