Jonny Bairstow has scored more than 6,500 runs in T20 cricket
Jonny Bairstow inspired Yorkshire to a record Roses win over Lancashire Lightning. while Hampshire Hawks made it five wins from six on a busy Friday in the T20 Blast.
Former England batter Bairstow smashed four sixes. seven fours in a 44-ball knock of 73 at the top of the order at Headingley, helping the North Group leaders to a total of 213-7, before a below-par Red Rose were skittled for 107 in reply with Jafer Chohan claiming four wickets.
Hampshire continued their dominance of the South Group after piling on the runs in a thrilling five-run win over Surrey at The Oval, despite Dan Lawrence's unbeaten 94. 70 from Will Jacks in reply.
Elsewhere. D'Arcy Short helped Gloucestershire to an easy west country derby win against defending champions Somerset, who are now fifth in the Central & West Group, while Worcestershire continued their good start with victory over Glamorgan.
In cross-pool play Notts Outlaws inflicted a fifth-straight defeat on Warwickshire Bears after a tense finale. while Sussex were edged out by Leicestershire thanks to late fireworks from Ashton Turner after Harrison Ward had earlier smashed 69 from 33 balls for the hosts.

Yorkshire strengthened their position at the top of the North Group with a fourth win in five thanks largely to Bairstow's second-wicket stand of 105 with Will Luxton.
Pakistan overseas pair Hassan Ali. Faheem Ashraf, alongside Moeen Ali, then struck inside the first four overs of a Lightning chase which slumped to 27-3 and finished with them bowled out for 107 inside 15 overs for their heaviest runs defeat in a T20.
Moeen's off-spin returned a superb 3-16 from his four overs, while Chohan was excellent with his leg-spin for 4-17.
Liam Livingstone - who earlier claimed Bairstow's scalp - top-scored with a consolatory 44 off 30 for Lancashire who have now lost three from four.

Toby Albert. Ali Orr - in for the injured James Vince - laid the foundations with an opening partnership of 73 from 49 balls before Hilton Cartwright (40 from 17) and Joe Weatherley (43 from 26) enabled the Hawks to post 215-5 – their highest Blast total against Surrey.
The visitors looked firm favourites after reducing Surrey to 52-3, only for Jacks (70 from 42). Lawrence, who smashed an unbeaten 94 from 47, to transform their side's fortunes.
With 22 needed off Manny Lumsden's final over, Lawrence struck 15 of them before losing strike. Chris Jordan was unable to manage a last-ball six that would have tied the contest.

Having lost Asa Tribe. Mason Crane to Lions duty from the team which won at Taunton, the visitors were dismissed for 141 in the final over. Kiran Carlson made 35 from 24 balls, while Sikandar Raza took 4-17 from his four overs for the Rapids.
Rob Yates took a career-best 4-22 at Trent Bridge but couldn't prevent Bears from losing again

Jack Haynes hit three sixes to top-score with 36 from 17 balls for the hosts while, Scotland international George Munsey hit 27. South African George Linde 29, including the winning boundary, after off-spinner Rob Yates had kept the Bears chances of a first win alive by taking 4-22.
Yates had earlier put on 54 from 34 balls for the opening wicket with Zen Malik (29). Kai Smith's 34 was as good as it got for the visitors as Mohammad Ali claimed 3-27 as Notts picked up their second win in five matches in North Group.

Both teams had won just once in five games. Sussex squandered another good start when they were bowled out for 179 despite an opening stand of 98 in nine overs by Ward and Dan Hughes, with Ward clubbing five sixes and seven fours in a 33-ball knock of 69.
Leicestershire lost wickets regularly in the first half of their reply. the game was in the balance at 118-5 in the 13th over.
But Turner. skipper Ben Green plundered 41 from 20 balls to break the back of the chase and Turner sealed victory with 14 deliveries to spare. His 57 off 28 balls included six fours and three sixes and was his second in this season's competition.
