Forget the scrap for survival betweenTottenhamandWest Ham. the real battle on the final day of the Premier League season is humans versus machines.
The outcome of the BBC predictions title race has gone to the wire,. BBC Sport football expert Chris Sutton is the only one who can stop AI - Microsoft chatbot Copilot - from taking the glory.
With one round of fixtures to go, they are level on outright wins - which is the decisive metric. Sutton is in second place because he has managed fewer tied victories. so he needs another outright win on Sunday to finish top of the table.
"The BBC readers and the guests have put up a pretty pathetic fight," said Sutton.
"It is just down to me now. I am a bit like Doctor Who, in that it is all down to me to save the human race."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, BBC Sport readers. a variety of guests.
For week 38, he takes onsinger-songwriter andArsenalfan Sam Tompkins.
Tompkins' new single, Beauty Queen, is out now.
Do you agree with their scores? You can pick your own below.
The most popular scoreline selected for each game is used in the scoreboards. tables at the bottom of this page.
A correct result (picking a win, draw or defeat) is worth 10 points. The exact score earns 40 points.
Tompkins, who started his career busking on the streets of Brighton, has had two UK Top 10 albums. over 300m global streams
Sam was on holiday with his partner in Paris whenManchester Citydrew withBournemouthon Tuesday to crownArsenalas champions after a 22-year wait.
"We had gone out for a really nice dinner. I'd been trying to look away from football for the evening," he told BBC Sport.
"Then my mate texted me at half-time, saying '45 minutes'. At first I was like 'what does that mean?', before I realised thatBournemouthwere winning.
"After that I just watched the rest of the game with my missus - she was actually very happy to watch it with me to be fair -. then at full-time I ran through the streets of Paris screaming!"
Arsenalwill try to complete an amazing double when they play Paris St-Germain in next weekend's Champions League final but. before then, Sam is hoping things go his way at the bottom of the Premier League table too.
"The title is in the bag and we have Budapest to look forward to. Now we can sit back and see what happens to Spurs on Sunday. What a month it would be if everything comes off."
Chris Sutton and Sam Tompkins were speaking to BBC Sport's Chris Bevan.
The AI predictions were generated using Microsoft Copilot Chat - we simply asked the tool to 'predict Sunday's Premier League scores'.
All games kick off at 16:00 BST
ABrightonwin would secure them seventh place and European football next season, and they could even finish sixth ifBournemouthlose.
It has not always been smooth progress for the Seagulls this season under Fabian Hurzeler,. they have finished the campaign strongly.
Manchester Unitedhave got something to play for too. though, or at least Bruno Fernandes does - he needs to set up one more goal to break the Premier League record forassists in a single season.
I think Fernandes will get his assist, butBrightonwill take the points - with Danny Welbeck scoring the winner.
Sutton's prediction:2-1
Sam's prediction:I can see Bruno getting his record but I don't think it will amount to much.Brightonis in my neck of the woods. I'd love them to get European football - it's a great city. 2-1
SinceWolvesbeatLiverpoolon 3 March. these two teams have not managed a single win between them out of a total of 16 games.
Wolveswere showing some signs of improvement back then, but they could not sustain it. It's been a horrible season for them.
As forBurnley, well they put up a decent fight againstArsenalon Monday but they still lost -. that is probably the story of their campaign.
So, will either of them give their fans something to smile about on Sunday?Wolveshave not won an away league game all season,. I don't see that changing now.
The sensible thing to do here would be to go for a draw. I have got a predictions title to win so I need to take some risks. I am going to backBurnleyto edge it.
Sutton's prediction:1-0
Sam's prediction:What a depressing fixture. It screams of a draw but surely both teams will be trying to finish the season on a high note. 2-0
The problem with predicting a game like this is. both sides are understandably going to make a lot of changes with European finals coming up in the next few days.
With the Premier League title won. why wouldn't Mikel Arteta rest a load of players before his side face Paris St-Germain next weekend?
The same applies toCrystal Palaceboss Oliver Glasner with his side playing Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.
So, it is going to be Palace reserves versusArsenalreserves -. some of the Gunners players may still have a hangover.
I understand why they wanted to enjoy themselves. I know Alan Shearer famously said he would be celebrating by "creosoting the fence" when we won the title with Blackburn in 1995,. he was the only one of us who went to bed early that night.
I am still going to go for anArsenalwin, though,. by their favourite scoreline too - the same one as their past three victories.
That was how they got over the line and it won't change now.
Sutton's prediction:0-1
Sam on howArsenalgot over the line this time:For me the big turning point for us was near the start of the season. when we went toNewcastle. I was at St James' Park and Gabriel got our winner with a header in the 96th minute. That was when our mentality changed. because I think in previous seasons we would have lost there or, at the very most, got a draw. The fact we came back from 1-0 down was a real sign of resilience for me.
When we lost to City in April, that was the first time I thought we might not win this,. we didn't panic. When we beatWest Ham, I felt like we said to City 'you can do what you want. we are always going to grind out a win out of anything'.
Declan Rice has been our top player, along with David Raya. Martin Zubimendi has been great in his first season with us as well. There have been unsung heroes too, like Ben White, who has always put his body on the line for us. I honestly don't think we pick up as many points at the end of the season as we did without him playing.
Sam's prediction:This is the game I am least sure about. because I have no idea what sort of team we will put out. But Palace will rest players too,. I still think we will be trying to get as many points as we can this season. 0-2
This is another tough one to call. These two sides are level on points in mid-table and. whileNewcastlehave beatenFulhamtwice already this season, both those victories came through last-gasp goals in the 90th minute or later.
The Magpies did get a big win overWest Hamat the weekend. have finished the season strongly, which is important for Eddie Howe's future.
Marco Silva's had another solid campaign withFulhamtoo, though,. I think his side will get something here - although admittedly I have been awful at predicting their results all season.
Sutton's prediction:1-1
Sam's prediction:Newcastlehave had a poor season by their standards. I like the wayFulhamplay and I can see this ending in a draw. 1-1
Will Mohamed Salah get any minutesand the chance to say goodbye to theLiverpoolfans after his ridiculous attack on Arne Slot's playing style?
Salah knows the implications of what he has said, about howLiverpoolmust return to being a "heavy metal attacking team". he is trying to bury Slot.
People might say Salah is right, but it still leaves a very sour taste. Slot is still in a job, andLiverpoolare still trying to secure a top-five finish. Doing this makes life even more difficult for Slot.
It is a tricky enough game anyway -Brentfordhave had a great season under Keith Andrews. they beatLiverpoolin the reverse fixture back in October.
The Bees are still in the mix for the European places. it really wouldn't surprise me if they won this, butLiverpoolonly need a point to finish fifth, and I think they will get it.
Sutton's prediction:2-2
Sam's prediction:This is interesting becauseLiverpoolstill need something to be sure of finishing fifth.Brentfordare tricky opponents. Mohamed Salah will want to end on a high note if he is playing after his comments this week. With or without him,Liverpoolwill edge this. 3-2
Next season is going to feel really oddwithout Pep Guardiola in the Premier League.
News of his impending departure broke at the start of the week. he has been such a big part of our game with the way City have played, and the way he has changed how coaches think and how we all think about football.
I think Pep will go out on a high. helped by the factAston Villawill still be celebrating after their brilliant Europa League win.
City have got plenty to celebrate too, though. Yes, they missed out on the league title. they have still won two cups this season, which is not to be sniffed at.
Sutton's prediction:4-2
Sam onArsenal's rivalry with City:I think that famous moment last season when Erling Haaland told Mikel Arteta to "stay humble". asked Myles Lewis-Skelly "who are you?" might have been when City really started looking at us as a full threat. For me that was the turning point,. ever since then it's been a real grudge match - like a new-age derby, almost. Whoever you have that rivalry with, it always makes it exciting and both teams push each other on.
Sam's prediction:City will want to win this for Pep, and Villa will probably he hungover. 3-0
There will be no last-day drama forNottingham Forest. who have done pretty well to stay up when you consider they have had four different managers this season.
This is Andoni Iraola's last game in charge ofBournemouthand I am expecting him to win it.
The Cherries showed how good they are againstManchester Cityin midweek and they will be on the front foot again here.
Sutton's prediction:1-2
Sam's prediction:I loveBournemouthfor getting a result for us on Tuesday,. I am a bit of a fan of Forest too. I'd loveBournemouthto get in the Champions League - my mates from Dorset always tell the story of when Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid side came to the Vitality Stadium for a pre-season friendly in 2013,. how it was the most surreal experience of their lives. I'd love for that to happen again, for real. 1-2
Sunderlandwill finish aboveChelseaif they win this and that would hardly count as a surprise.
The Black Cats come into this game off the back of beatingEvertonaway. another win here would secure a top-10 finish and, possibly, European football.
That is whatChelseaare playing for too. after that run of six straight league defeats saw them fall away from the Champions League places.
Chelseagot a good win overTottenhamon Tuesday but I am expecting this to be close,. I can see it ending up in a draw.
Sutton's prediction:1-1
Sam's prediction:Sunderlandwill be desperate to win to make sure they finish aboveNewcastle. That will matter a lot to them. 1-0
Can formerWest Hammanager David Moyes help to save his old club by getting a win withEvertonhere?
Going on form, the answer is probably no. The Toffees have not won any of their past six matches.
But this is going to be a nervy old afternoon forTottenhamand their fans.
Spurs were flat againstChelseaand, based on that performance,Evertonwill get at least a point.
Thinking about it. I am actually going to say they will take all three.Tottenhamhave been wretched at home all season - onlyBurnleyhave picked up fewer points on home turf - whileEvertonhad a strong record away until their recent run.
Sutton's prediction:1-2
Sam's prediction:Spurs are losing this, 100%. They are going down too. 0-2
I am going for Spurs to lose at home toEverton,. canWest Hamget the win they need to have any chance of staying up?
I can't see it myself. Hammers midfielder Mateus Fernandes said his side lacked fight in last weekend's defeat byNewcastle, which is really damning,. they have lost form at the worst possible time.
In contrast,Leedsare well organised and playing with so much confidence. I am a big fan of their manager Daniel Farke and I don't see him losing this.
There will be loads of drama. probably loads of chances at both ends too, but I am going for a draw which would sendWest Hamdown to the Championship for the first time since 2011-12.
Sutton's prediction:1-1
Sam's prediction:West Hamare staying up. I knowLeedshave hit a bit of form but this is what is going to happen. 1-0
AI took the win in week 37, which included Tuesday's games whereBournemouthdrew withManchester CityandChelseabeatTottenham.
