Bangladesh will tour Zimbabwe in June. July for a full series of one Test, three ODIs and three T20Is, starting with the Test in Harare from June 28. The ODIs will also be played in Harare from July 6 to 11. with the T20Is to follow in Bulawayo from July 15 to 19.
The two teams have faced each other in 20 Tests over the years. with the most recent contests taking place in Bangladesh in 2025, when the series was drawn 1-1. Overall, Bangladesh hold a slim 9-8 edge over Zimbabwe in Test cricket. The win in April last year was Zimbabwe's first since March 2021. when they had beaten Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi, though they have since beaten Afghanistan in Harare, in October 2025.
Bangladesh's previous tour of Zimbabwe was in July-August 2022, though no Tests were played then. Zimbabwe won both the T20I and ODI series 2-1 in matches played in Harare.
The upcoming series will mark Zimbabwe's first home assignment of the year,. their first international action since the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka in February-March this year, where they qualified for the Super Eight stage for the first time after recording victories over Australia and Sri Lanka.
"We are delighted to confirm Bangladesh's tour of Zimbabwe for what we expect to be a highly competitive. exciting series across all formats," Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Givemore Makoni said in a statement. "This tour is hugely significant for us as it marks the return of top-level international cricket to our home venues following the team's outstanding performances at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup earlier this year.
"Our supporters have every reason to be proud of what we have achieved in recent months,. we are looking forward to seeing fans once again rally behind the team in Harare and Bulawayo."
